As a part of a $78.8 million bond in 2006, our state-of-the-art HutchinsonCareen & Technical Education Academy building was funded. This building functions as a technical training academy and event space for USD 308 and other community organizations.

Special Projects
Branded Lounge at Kansas State University
One of the standout projects during my time at Basys involved launching a bespoke Basys-branded lounge within the National Strategic Selling Institute at Kansas State University. Collaborating closely with a colleague, we demonstrated our adept project management and creative prowess throughout.
Our engagement encompassed every facet of the endeavor. We commenced with conceptualizing and designing the lounge, crafting a space that not only embodied the Basys brand essence but also nurtured an environment conducive to dynamic learning for students. This entailed seamless coordination with university authorities and various vendors to ensure each detail reflected our vision impeccably.
In addition to the physical layout, we took charge of orchestrating the launch event. This entailed designing invitations, managing the event logistics, and facilitating meaningful interactions between business students and professionals. We introduced branded desserts and organized an exclusive raffle for Basys merchandise, enhancing the overall engagement and experience.
A noteworthy aspect of our involvement was our hands-on approach to designing the lounge's graphics. Leveraging Adobe InDesign, we crafted visually captivating graphics and produced detailed mockups, providing vendors with clear, creative direction. This meticulous attention ensured that every element within the space harmonized seamlessly with our strategic objectives.
This project not only underscored our capability to oversee large-scale initiatives from inception to fruition but also underscored our knack for creating environments that inspire professional growth and foster networking opportunities.
